In 2005, our family opened the doors of the Laughing Buddha. The concept was simple; great pizza, unique beer and a killer vibe. Much has changed in 13+ years, but these three concepts have remained a priority.

Along with the Laughing Buddha, our family has also owned and operated the Townehouse Tavern since 1987. Led by our grandparents, we made it our goal to invest in our city and change the way people looked at Elgin street in general. Opening the Buddha was a reinvestment that we are very proud to have made.

The finest ingredients go into our stone baked pizza, fresh hummus, soups, salads, and sandwiches. Ingredients are prepared daily and we are proud to offer many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

We also pride ourselves on our huge selection of local craft beer, as well as beer from around the country and brands that are celebrated internationally. Take your pick from 18 different types of scotch as well as many other premium local and international brands of spirits and wines.
